About me: From Lake Dallas, Texas, I’m a Texas State student by day and Hooters Girl by night. When I’m not studying in the library or serving wings during the game, you can find me out with my friends on the square or laying out by the pool. I may be a busy girl, but I’ve adopted a new motto: Work hard, play harder.

What are your plans for after you graduate? Grad school is definitely in the near future.

Do you see yourself actually following through with those plans? Absolutely. Going to school was always my dream when I was little, and now that I’m here, I never want to leave!

Why Texas State? The better question is why not. Aside from the river and location, Texas State is such a physically active school. I love that everyone wants to constantly be outside and exercising. It’s just a good environment.

Favorite activity in San Marcos: Pool parties, of course. It’s a good way to see everyone while getting a tan after a long week of classes.

Who is your role model? Why her/him? My dad. Put simply, he’s the best man I know. I don’t know where I would be without his presence and influence in my life. His strength is making me stronger.

Would you prefer to live somewhere else when you graduate, or do you want to stay in the San Marcos/Austin area? Most people I know dread change and the unknown, but I say bring it on. It’s going to be sad leaving San Marcos, but I’m ready for anything that’s thrown at me. I would love to live somewhere new once I graduate.
