About me: I am a senior at Texas State studying nutrition. I am originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but I moved to Austin when I was a sophomore in high school. I was on the Texas State Cheerleading team for my freshman, sophomore, and junior years. Now, I am focusing more on my future and everything to come after I graduate!

Why Texas State? I based my choice of college off of where I made cheerleading. I also had the option to go to SFA or Colorado State, but as soon as I went on a tour of Texas State I knew this was the place for me. The campus is absolutely beautiful, and the location is perfect. Not only is San Marcos close enough so my parents were able to come watch me cheer at the football games on weekends, but I love the fact that it is a small college town with easy access to Austin and San Antonio.

Favorite activity in San Marcos: The square, eating out, pool parties, floating the river, tailgates, and TXST football games!

Favorite movie: The Grinch Who Stole Christmas
