Name: Jennifer Alexis Aguirrie

About me: I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. I went to a really small private school my whole life and in high school, and I played volleyball and ran track. I’m always hanging out with my friends, and I love to be outside! I work at Chupacabra on 6th street on the weekends and Sunday is dedicated to football and relaxation!

What are your plans for after you graduate? After graduation, I’m going to hike the Appalachian Trail for 5 months, starting in April. I’m making a documentary with my friend about the trials and tribulations of the trail! I’m super excited! I’m also working on getting accepted to graduate school in California where I can study health science more in depth. After that, (if things work out) you can call me Dr. Jennifer

Do you see yourself actually following through with those plans? I’m a super motivated person so when I have something in my mind, you better believe its getting done and then some!

Why Texas State? I feel IN LOVE with the campus! I’m always out by the river. San Marcos will always have a place in my heart and the people here have made me who I am today.

Favorite activity in San Marcos: My favorite activities change daily! I love to be out by the water so swimming, fishing, paddle boarding, surfing, snorkeling sand volleyball and laying out with my girl friends.

Favorite restaurant in San Marcos: TAPROOM! Hands down. Well.. now that I think about it.. Los Vega does have the best breakfast tacos in San Marcos! Hard call.
