Talk About a Hot Nurse..

Published on April 2, 2013 by

ATX-12

Where do you see yourself in 5 years Alora?
Graduated and working as a nurse!

What’s your favorite thing about Austin?
All of the diverse opportunities it offers! There’s not much you could want that Austin doesn’t have. The festivals, the lake, great music, people, food, university, the list goes on.

Why did you move to Austin?
I was born and raised in Austin! Definitely can’t complain.

Who’s your role model and why?
My mother! She’s such a happy, compassionate, and understanding person who can tackle anything life throws at her. Plus, anyone deserves a trophy for having nine kids.

What’s your favorite type of food?
It’s a tie between Tex Mex and Chinese. My heart is torn.

If you could date anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
A Cam Gigandet clone who is honest, trustworthy, and knows how to have a good time. Because Cam Gigandet is gorgeous, but sadly taken. And nobody wants to date a liar or a bore.

Victoria is a True Sweet heart from league city Texas.
In her alone time, she likes to take baths, learn something new, and play with her dog.
“I choose not to have a TV or to watch television shows,” Victoria tells us.
She has a heart of gold and describes herself as a free happy spirit.
The beautiful sunshine along with the flow of the Comal River is what initially enticed Victoria to move to San Marcos in pursuit of a degree in communications.
Now, working with College Dozen is just a bonus!
Victoria is a woman with many talents- including, but not limited to, licking her elbow.
“The most attractive thing a guy can do to catch my attention is make me laugh, or dance,” says Victoria.
“A guy that can’t be himself is a turnoff.”

Mykayla- The bombshell with a 4.0

Mykayla was Born in Joplin, Missouri.  “I call a small town north of Dallas home. I grew up in Lake Dallas – a town you’re happy to grow up in and even happier to leave.”

Now a senior with a 4.0, Mykayla is dangerously close to walking the stage at graduation with a degree in marketing.

“I’m in no hurry to cross the finish line.  Says Mykayla.  School has always been my thing, so grad school is on my agenda just as soon as I get across that stage. I joke about becoming a professional student, but from the way things are looking, that might not be too far off from the truth. I was always good enough at sports to make the team and play, but school is where I tend to get really competitive. I like to know things and I just don’t feel like my time is done.

Q: What do you do for fun in your spare time?

A: “I don’t find myself with a lot of free time in between juggling work, school, and organizations, but the little time I do have, I like to go out on the square with a few of my favorite people and go out of town to see those I’m not lucky enough to have around every day.”

Q: Are there any shows on TV right now that you feel like you can not miss?

A: The one show I absolutely cannot miss is Chelsea Lately. I can honestly say Chelsea Handler is one of my idols, ranking up there with the greats – my dad, Ellen Degeneres, and Mother Theresa. Jokes aside, her humor and honesty is something I think everyone should embrace. It makes life’s little tragedies a little more enjoyable.

Q: So what does it take to be swept off your feet?

A: “As far as the guy scene goes, I tend to be more of a realist with a romantic twist. I’ve heard friends of mine talk about being swept off their feet and while I think it does happen, I’m just not one to get swept. I’ll be the first to admit I’m slow to warm up to people, but I’m a firm believer that you just need to give people a chance to surprise you because they often will.

I once met a guy that came into Hooters who was really drunk and sat at the bar while I was working. He thought he had all the right lines and I heard all of them over the course of about 2 hrs. He was definitely good with his words and I’m sure his charm was a huge hit on other girls, but I just wasn’t impressed. What did impress me was that he came back into my work the next day to apologize for his less than flattering display the day before and asked to come back into town the next weekend to get to know me without the influence of alcohol. His apology and persistence over the next month was enough to get me on board and eventually find myself being “swept”. He brought something different to the table and caught my attention. It may not have started off exactly as he had planned, but he adapted and tried again. Guys should make note that sometimes all it takes is a little more persistence.”

Q: What quality do you find most attractive in a dude?

A: “I like to say I love personalities, meaning I don’t necessarily have a type other than just a really cool person. You have to love yourself before someone else can love you, so a guy with humble confidence is sexy.

“Physically, I prefer someone taller than I am in heels (which isn’t much) and has a contagious smile.  As long as his v-necks don’t show more cleavage than I do or his pants fit tighter than my skinny jeans, I don’t really have a preference in terms of his style. Flaunting what you’ve got is one thing, looking like you bought your shirt from the baby Gap is another. Girls should leave a little to the imagination, but that goes for guys too!”

Born on a Farm, Bred to Make Your Jaw Drop

Born in Omaha Nebraska, Torie Elizabeth Auen lived on a large farm with cattle and… well not much else. She’s majoring in business and marketing, and loving life.

Torie lives each day to the fullest from sun up to long after nightfall!

“I love being around people and doing outrageous and fun things” she says.  “I’m always around my friends and have a good time, I like to go out.  A lot!”

“I’m a cocktail waitress Friday-Sunday so having a good time and being around a fun environment is my job.”

In Torie’s alone time she enjoys reading, working out, and anything outdoors.

“I find it VERY unattractive when guys come off as rude, inconsiderate and cocky,” says Torie.  “Its not cute, its degrading.”

Torie works hard to support her lifestyle, and any man of hers must be capable of doing the same.

“It’s a major turn off if your still living off your parents paychecks month by month; get a job to support yourself please.  If I can, you can.”

“Looks are a big thing, duh,” says Torie. “I find a guy that is dedicated to his fitness and diet very sexy. Just don’t be am obnoxious meat head—that’s asking for a turn down.”

Don’t be shy fella. Torie won’t bite!

“I don’t mind when guys approach me at all.  I actually applaud it.”

Would you like a drink or where are you from are always good ways to start off conversation with her.

“Just be seductive about it, not eager.”

“One night I was out and spotted an absolutely gorgeous man across the already packed bar. We had been making eye contact and flirtatious smiles to each other all night. The bartender handed me a drink and pointed to guy I had been making eye contact with. The drink had a napkin wrapped around it, once I finished my drink I noticed writing on the napkin and saw a number, name and said “meet me on the patio in 30″. It was the best!”

It’s almost a catch 22. Be confident because the shy guy rarely works. Then again, it’s easy to go from smiling and confident to a cocky meat head after a drink ..or 12.

“As far as looks I don’t have a personal preference. Tall, good smile, and a nice body.” Basically all you have to do is make sure you look like you put some effort into the way you look and dress.  Ladies spend countless dollars, not to mention hours on end, on their hair, makeup, and wardrobe.  No one wants to go out with someone that looks like a scrub!

“You have to be up to date with your fashion,” says Torrie.

That means no Abercrombie; how old are we, 6?

“Nice fitted jeans and shirt make men look handsome.”

“Guys, were not asking for Prince Charming, but chivalry isn’t dead. Open doors, be polite, say thank you for the things we do, and notice the little things. A little goes a long way.”

Try out some of Torrie’s new advice next Sunday Fun-day at the Rooftop on the square while sipping on some Dos Equis.

Get nervous around the Dozen?.. Don’t worry, Caitlin Chesky’s got you covered.

Published on June 14, 2012 by

Every guy has had a few of those conversations about the perfect girl—”her face on her body” sort of thing.  But have we ever asked ourselves what we are going to do when the perfect woman presents herself.  What about what the chicks want? We sat down with the Dozen’s own Caitlin Chesky to ask what she thinks..

When is the right time to strike up conversation?

If you want to get to know someone be sure that when you meet, you’re putting yourself in a situation where you will be remembered.  Make sure you are in an area free of distractions.

“Ideally, the first time a guy approaches you, it should be natural and not forced. I always appreciate having a conversation with someone in a place where it is easy to hear them. Crowded parties, bars, boats, etc. are not the best places to try to have a conversation with me.”

Lay it out for us quick and simple what are the does and dont’s?

- DO: be polite, be funny

- DON’T: act bitter if you are drunk and sloppy and I am uninterested; you’re digging yourself a deeper hole.

Sounds like if you do a “Don’t”, she’s spreading the word about your douchey act to all of her friends—probably the Dozen as well.

So what if I meet someone on a party boat or, or crowded bar?

“Taking me to dinner would be the best thing to do. If I’m interested at all, I would have no problem saying yes to ‘wanna grab dinner sometime?’ We could continue our conversation then ; )”

It sounds like Caitlin just wants a guy who knows how to keep it classy.

If beautiful women are your missions, then guys’, staying fit is your homework.

“Physically, I love tall guys since I am 5’9”. But, if a guy has a great personality, height doesn’t really matter.”

What do you prefer, a big jacked guy or more of a ripped/lean and fit?

“I would take a 6-pack/ lean muscle over a huge roided-out guy any day.”

Purchase your “school supplies” online through Onnit Labs. Enter promo code BOBCAT for 10% off your order.
